Honeybags is in Bonehill on the edge of Dartmoor. It's one of a few cottages in the grounds of a larger house, but it's separate and you have your own garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but not posh.
You're right on Dartmoor here. You can walk straight out onto the moor. Haytor is a ten minute drive. Widecombe-in-the-Moor is close too, that's the place with the famous church.
There's a pub about a mile away in the village. It does food. Bovey Tracey is a few miles down the road for more shops and cafes. The Devon Guild of Craftsmen there is worth a look.
Within a half hour drive you can get to a few things. Castle Drogo is a National Trust property. Buckfast Abbey and the Butterfly Farm are that way. For a day out with kids, Woodlands Adventure Park or Pennywell Farm are in that direction too.
The coast at Teignmouth or Dawlish is about 12 miles, so roughly 30 minutes depending on traffic.
What's here: A woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a washing machine. WiFi. TV. Your own parking space. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. You can bring up to two. Bedding and towels are included.
