This cottage is called Chinkwell. It's in Bonehill, which is on the edge of Dartmoor about a mile from Widecombe-in-the-Moor. It's a detached stone cottage.
It sleeps two people with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star. It's comfortable and clean. The garden is private. You can bring up to two dogs.
The facilities are as you'd expect: TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
There's a pub about a mile away in the village. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Bovey Tracey. It’s a good base for walking straight onto the moor. The Haytor rocks are close by if you want to climb about.
For days out, Dartmoor National Park is right there. National Trust Dartmoor has good guides for walks. Castle Drogo and Becky Falls are both within half an hour's drive. The coast at Teignmouth is about an hour by car.
If you're coming with a bigger group, you should know that this is one of several cottages here. They can be booked together.
