Hameldown is near Widecombe on Dartmoor, up towards Bonehill. It's a three-star cottage, so it's comfortable and clean. It doesn't try to be anything it's not.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. You can bring two dogs. There's parking and a garden.
You're right on Dartmoor. You can walk straight out the door. Haytor is a short drive away. The local pub is about a mile down the lane. It's a proper moorland walk to get there, about twenty minutes. They do food.
If you want a shop, Bovey Tracey is about ten minutes by car. They've got supermarkets and a few cafes. The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is there too, if you like that sort of thing.
For a day out, the coast is about forty minutes' drive. Teignmouth or Torquay. Castle Drogo is run by the National Trust and is about half an hour away. Dartmoor itself is the main thing, though.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
