Bagtor Hayloft
Bagtor Hayloft is on our farm in Haytor Vale. It's a semi-detached cottage, converted from a hayloft a few years back. It looks out over our fields and you can see right across to Dartmoor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and warm. It's on a farm, so you'll see and hear cows. Sometimes there are calves in the spring. The track up to the cottage is private. The view from the top is good, especially with a morning coffee.
You can walk straight onto the moor from the door. The cycling here is good, off the main roads. We have stabling if you want to bring horses, and you can ride out on our tracks.
There's a shop and a pub about two miles away in Ilsington. It does food. For a day out, Exeter is about half an hour's drive. Plymouth and its aquarium is about 40 minutes. The coast is about 15 miles if you fancy a beach.
The cottage has a wood burner, which is nice in the evenings. There's a washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
