Acorn Cottage
This is Acorn Cottage in Teigngrace. It's a converted farm building on our working farm. You get views over the fields and the river from your patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The walls are thick, it's quiet. It's part of a row, so the cottages are side by side, but you've got your own space.
There's a heated outdoor pool you can use, shared with the other cottages here. The kids can see the farm animals. We've got chickens wandering about, so you might find fresh eggs. There's a dog walking area on the farm too, about half an acre. You can bring one dog.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. They're fine. Teignmouth and Newton Abbot are about ten minutes by car for bigger shops.
If you want to get out, Dartmoor is right there. You can be up on the moor in twenty minutes. For the coast, Teignmouth and Dawlish have beaches and a promenade. The South West Coast Path runs through there. Paignton and Brixham are about half an hour's drive.
For a day out, you've got the steam railway at Paignton, or the ferry across to Dartmouth. The National Trust places like Castle Drogo are within easy reach.
What's here: your own patio garden, a wood burner, parking right outside, WiFi, a washing machine, and towels are included. The swimming pool is open in the warmer months.
