Olchard Lodge is in Ideford, about a ten minute drive from Newton Abbot. It's on our land here, but it's completely separate. You have your own parking right outside.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It has a 4 Star rating. We think that means it's comfortable and well-finished.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sofa and dining table at the other. There are large sliding doors that open onto the patio. The hot tub is around the side, it's private and sheltered.
You're out in the countryside here. The views from the patio are over fields. It's quiet. We provide bathrobes and decent towels.
Dartmoor is very close. You can get up onto the moor in about fifteen minutes by car. For the coast, Teignmouth and Shaldon are a ten to fifteen minute drive. Exeter is about twenty minutes away the other way.
There are some good pubs nearby. The Bell Inn in Ideford is a five minute drive. They serve food.
If you want to explore, Torquay and Brixham are within half an hour. Dartmouth and Salcombe are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes.
In terms of what's here: it has a wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a Smart TV. The whole place is on one level and the entrance has no step, so it's suitable for wheelchair access. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
