Daisy Cottage is in Shaldon. It's on a quiet lane, about a minute's walk from the ferry slipway on the River Teign.
It's a terraced cottage that sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. You get the first two floors. There's a bunk room and a double. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and tidy, newly decorated.
The back door opens onto a small, enclosed courtyard garden. It's got a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
Shaldon village is right there. There's a few pubs, cafes, and a decent shop. The beach is shingle. You can get the passenger ferry over to Teignmouth. It runs most days, unless the weather is really bad. Teignmouth has a pier, more shops, and a longer sandy beach.
Dawlish is about ten minutes in the car. There's a sandy beach there and the famous black swans. If you want to go further, Torquay is about twenty minutes away one way, and Exeter about twenty-five minutes the other.
The South West Coast Path runs along the coast here. Good for walks. There's a golf course nearby. For a longer drive out, Dartmoor is less than an hour.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
