Daisy Cottage
Daisy Cottage is in Shaldon. It's one of the small cottages on the Strand, right by the water. You get the sound of the river and a garden out the back, which is fenced.
It's a 4 Star cottage which means it's well kept. It sleeps four. Upstairs you've got two bedrooms, one double and one with bunk beds. The stairs are cottage stairs, so a bit narrow and steep.
The kitchen and living room are open plan. There's a TV and WiFi. You get a washing machine, a dishwasher, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The garden is enclosed. You can sit outside and watch the boats on the river.
The village is very small. There's a good local pub a minute's walk away, and a few shops and cafes. You can get the passenger ferry over to Teignmouth, which is fun. It's a five minute trip.
For beaches, you've got Shaldon's own beach and Ness Cove, which is through a smuggler's tunnel. Teignmouth's main beach is a short ferry ride or drive away. The South West Coast Path goes right through here if you're walking.
If you drive, Dartmoor is about 40 minutes. Exeter is around half an hour. The nearest National Trust place is probably Coleton Fishacre, which is near Kingswear, about 45 minutes along the coast.
You can bring up to two dogs. They're £20 each for the stay.
