Huccaby Tor
This is Huccaby Tor. It's an apartment in a block on the coastal road above Maidencombe beach in Torquay. The block is in the grounds of the main house, but you have your own front door.
It's for two people. There's one bedroom and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and has what you need. It's not a fancy place.
The beach is about a ten minute walk downhill. It's a sheltered little cove with a cafe. The Thatched Tavern pub is in the village, about the same distance. They do food.
You're right on the South West Coast Path here. The walk from Watcombe to Maidencombe is good and you can pick it up nearby. Torquay town centre is about four miles away for shops and more restaurants. Paignton Zoo is about a twenty minute drive. Dartmoor is about thirty minutes if you want a change from the coast.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
