Apartment 8
This is Apartment 8. It's in Astor House, a big Victorian building in the middle of Torquay. We've split the house into flats. This one's on the second floor, so there's a staircase to climb. The views from the front rooms are towards the sea.
It's a one-bedroom flat but it sleeps four. There's a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're right in town here. The beach is about five minutes' walk downhill. The shops and the marina are about the same. There's a local shop just down the road, and a couple of pubs and restaurants within a few minutes.
The Imperial Hotel is nearby. Your stay includes a pass to use their leisure club, which has a pool and a gym. That's quite a good perk.
If you want to get out, there's plenty. You can walk the South West Coast Path. Paignton Zoo is very close. Kent's Cavern is in Torquay. Brixham harbour is about a fifteen minute drive.
For a day trip, you can drive to Totnes in under half an hour. It's an interesting old town on the river. Dartmouth is about forty minutes. Dartmoor is about forty five minutes. Dartmoor National Park is good for walking. Exeter is half an hour up the motorway.
In the flat you've got a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets.
