Swallows Cottage
Swallows Cottage is in Brixham, over in the Churston Ferrers part. It's quiet up there. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The stairs are a spiral staircase, which looks nice but is a bit tight. Something to know if you've got bad knees or very little kids. There's a TV and WiFi.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a table and chairs and a bit of grass. It's not huge, but it's yours. You can bring up to two dogs.
Location wise, you're just outside Brixham proper. The harbour is a drive or a decent walk away. It's a proper working fishing port. The fish and chips are good. There's a local pub within walking distance.
You can get to a lot from here. Greenway, which was Agatha Christie's house, is nearby on the River Dart. Paignton Zoo is about ten minutes in the car. The steam railway to Buckfastleigh is close. The ferry across to Dartmouth leaves from Kingswear, which is just down the road.
For facilities, we include all bedding and towels. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
