Buzzards View
Buzzards View is in Kingswear. It used to be an apple store. You can see the sea from upstairs and fields from downstairs.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are on the ground floor. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's a bit unusual but it works. The stairs are wooden and a bit steep.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two. There's a patio with a table and a barbecue.
Inside, it's got old stone walls and beams. It's been done up nicely. It's comfortable. It has a 4 Star rating.
There are fields right around it. Sometimes there are donkeys from Paignton beach grazing in them, and chickens.
For the coast, you're well placed. The Dart Valley trail is close by for walks. The ferry over to Dartmouth is a few minutes' drive. From there you can get the river boat down to Dittisham or up to Totnes. Paignton and Brixham are about a twenty minute drive. For a bigger beach, Goodrington Sands is good. Slapton Sands is about half an hour away.
Dartmoor is about forty minutes by car if you fancy that. Totnes is about twenty minutes.
