Anchorage View
Anchorage View is a flat on the Embankment in Dartmouth, overlooking the River Dart. It's above a shop. The entrance is around the back, off Foss Street.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The main thing is the view. You're right above the Boat Float, so you see all the yachts and the river traffic. You can watch the ferry going back and forth to Kingswear all day.
You're in the middle of everything. The shops, pubs, and the quay are literally on your doorstep. You don't need to drive once you're here if you don't want to.
The flat has a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There is no private parking, but there's a long-stay car park about a five minute walk away. The instructions I send will explain where it is.
If you want to get out, you can catch the ferry across to Kingswear and get the steam train to Paignton. Dartmouth Castle is about a mile along the coast path. The South West Coast Path is right there if you want a walk. For a big day out, you can drive to National Trust places around Dartmouth or head onto Dartmoor, which is about 40 minutes away.
