Tuckenhay Mill. It's what they've called the whole place. This cottage is one of them, it's called Coomberry Loft.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a Four Star rating. That means it's very comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is part of a quiet little hamlet on Bow Creek. It's a peaceful spot. You can watch boats go by on the river.
The main reason people book here is for the facilities. There are three swimming pools, two indoors and one outside. There's a games room and a sauna. It's all shared with the other holiday cottages on site, but it's never felt busy when I've been.
You can walk to a riverside pub. It's an easy walk. For a shop, you'll need to drive to Totnes, which is about three miles away.
It's a good spot for getting out. Dartmouth is 20 minutes by car. Blackpool Sands beach is also about 20 minutes. For surfing, Bantham beach is half an hour away. Dartmouth itself is good for pottering about and boat trips.
Dartmoor is close by for walking. You can get to the coast path easily from lots of places. If you like National Trust places, Greenway is nearby.
For facilities in the cottage: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: South Devon National Landscape and Dartmoor National Park.
