Tuckenhay, Coomberry Loft.
Tuckenhay, Coomberry Loft is in the village of Tuckenhay, on Bow Creek which comes off the River Dart. It's one of the cottages at Tuckenhay Mill. You share the site with a few other holiday homes.
The loft sleeps six. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's up on the top floor, so you've got good views from the windows.
Being part of the mill site is the main thing. There are shared leisure facilities: two indoor swimming pools, an outdoor pool, a games room, and a sauna. You can walk down to the creek from the garden.
The local pub is about a mile away, down the lane. It's on the water and does food. A village shop is about three and a half miles away in Totnes.
For days out, Dartmouth is about five miles. Totnes is three miles. The coast at Blackpool Sands is about a twenty minute drive. Bantham Beach, which is good for surfing, is about half an hour away.
There's plenty of walking from the door along the creek, or you can drive to the South West Coast Path or onto Dartmoor. The National Trust's Greenway, Agatha Christie's old house, is nearby.
Facilities here: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, cot and highchair available, bedding included, parking on site. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a BBQ area.
