Mad Nelly Cottage

Mad Nelly Cottage is on our farm, Curtisknowle. It's one of four cottages in a courtyard. You get your own patio with a table and chairs.

It's a barn conversion, sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got the 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-looked after. You can bring up to two dogs.

The farm is about 240 acres. There are footpaths and green lanes right from the door for walks. It's about a fifteen minute drive to Totnes. That's got all the shops and places to eat. Dartmouth is about the same drive the other way.

The coast is about seven miles. Blackpool Sands and Slapton are good beaches. The South West Coast Path is there for walking.

On site, there's a shared indoor heated swimming pool with its own changing room. There's also a big games room with an American pool table, table football, and table tennis. Upstairs in that building there's a fitness room with some basic equipment.

We also run the Wheeldon Off-Road Centre next door. It's for motorbike riding on a proper indoor track. All kit is provided. Guests get a free hour on our electric bikes to try them out. You can book other things like clay pigeon shooting or archery, but you need to sort that before you arrive.

In the cottage there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
