Reubens is the big barn conversion up on Boreston Lane, near Moreleigh. It's a proper detached place with its own garden and parking.
It sleeps ten, which is quite a lot. Five bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, so there's no queue in the morning. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's done up nicely. High ceilings, stone walls, a big wood burner in the main room. The kitchen is a farmhouse style one with doors out to the terrace.
The local pub is about half a mile walk. They do food. The nearest shop is two miles away in the car, so you'll want to do a big shop on your way in. The roads around here are typical for Devon: narrow, single track with passing places. You get used to it.
It's a good spot for getting to places. Totnes is about six miles. It's got the mainline train station and a lot of independent shops. Dartmouth is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car. You can get the ferry there and then catch the steam train to Paignton.
The coast is about nine miles. Slapton Sands is that way, or you can go towards Torcross. The South West Coast Path runs all along there. Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive north if you fancy a walk on the tors.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
