Milbourn Cottage is in Tuckenhay, just off the River Dart. It's part of Tuckenhay Mill, which is a collection of old mill buildings all converted into holiday cottages.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with morning queues. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not a show home. It's a place to stay.
You have your own garden. The main living area is upstairs, with big windows and a balcony that looks out over the stream towards the old mill. The master bedroom is downstairs.
As it's part of the mill site, you share some facilities. There are three swimming pools, two indoors and one outdoors. There's a games room and a sauna. It's good if you want to keep kids entertained on a rainy day. For a quiet pint, there's a pub you can walk to along the creek.
The location is the main thing. You're inland, on the river, but you're only about twenty minutes drive from the coast. Blackpool Sands is a good beach. For surfing, Bantham is about half an hour away.
Dartmouth is twenty minutes down the road. Totnes is about ten. Both are worth a visit. If you want to walk, you've got the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor both within easy reach.
Things here: parking is on site, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher, bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
