It's part of a group of converted mill buildings on Bow Creek, which is a little inlet off the River Dart. The buildings are all listed. You get access to the leisure facilities, which are two indoor pools, one outdoor pool, a games room, and a sauna. They're shared with the other cottages on the site.
The cottage itself has parking. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and bedding is provided. We can put a cot and highchair in for you if you need them. There's a barbeque outside.
The local pub, the Maltsters Arms, is about a ten-minute walk away. It's right on the creek. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Totnes, which is about three miles.
You're about five miles from Dartmouth. For beaches, Blackpool Sands is about a 20-minute drive. Bantham, which is good for surfing, is about half an hour. The South West Coast Path is easily reached from there for walking.
Dartmoor is roughly 40 minutes by car. If you're interested in local history, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Agatha Christie's old house, Greenway, which is just up the river.
