The Coach House
The Coach House is in Harberton, which is about two miles from Totnes. It's a detached barn conversion set back from the lane. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. It's mostly quiet here, you just hear the birds.
It sleeps six. Three double bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The ceilings upstairs are beamed and high, so it feels quite spacious.
The main room is open plan. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table, and a sitting area with a woodburner. The sofas are comfortable. The TV is a Smart one with a sound system. The doors from the kitchen open out onto a patio.
There’s another little terrace area next to a stream. Both are nice for sitting out. The garden is mostly lawn.
Totnes is two miles away. It’s an odd town in a good way, lots of independent shops. The market is on Fridays. For the coast, Blackpool Sands and Slapton are about a twenty minute drive. Dartmouth is maybe twenty five minutes. You can get the ferry across the river there or take a boat trip.
Dartmoor is close, about fifteen minutes by car to the edge of the park. For a family day out, Woodlands theme park is nearby. The steam railway runs between Paignton and Kingswear.
In terms of what’s here, it's all the usual things: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a highchair if you need one. Parking is on the gravel drive. Sorry, no pets.
