The Coach House is outside Harberton. It's a converted barn. So it's detached, stone walls, oak beams, that sort of thing. It's in the grounds of a larger house but you get your own privacy.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all doubles, with vaulted ceilings. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower only and is the ensuite to the main bedroom. The other has a bath with a shower over it.
The main room downstairs is open plan. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table in the middle, and a living area at the other end. The bi-fold doors open onto the patio. There's also a snug room off the main area with another sofa.
The garden is mostly at the front and side. There's a terrace by a small stream and another patio off the kitchen. It's about an acre of gardens, which you can use. There's space for a game of croquet if you fancy it.
Totnes is two miles away. It's an interesting town with an old high street, independent shops, and a market. Good for a wander.
You're also well placed for the coast. Slapton Sands and Blackpool Sands are about a 20-minute drive. Dartmouth is about 15 minutes in the car. From there you can get the ferry or the river cruise up to Totnes.
Dartmoor is quite close. You can be up in the moors in about half an hour. For a local family day out, Woodlands Leisure Park is nearby.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped but not overly luxurious. All the bedding and towels are included. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, woodburner, and Wi-Fi. There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive.
