Umber House
Umber House is in Harbourneford. It's a converted barn in our garden. We finished it in 2019. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well done and comfortable.
You have your own small, private garden area. But you're also welcome to use our bigger garden. There's a summerhouse and a wildlife pond. You'll see us around, but it's set up so you have your own space.
The main room is open plan with a kitchen, sitting area, and a wood burning stove. The shower is a walk-in one. There's underfloor heating, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Everything's on one level.
It's very quiet here. The lane is a dead end. You're in the Dartmoor National Park straight away for walking. The nearest shop and a pub are about a mile and a half away in South Brent. A few good restaurants are within a ten minute drive.
If you want to explore, Buckfastleigh is three miles. The Abbey is there, and you can get a steam train to Totnes. Plymouth is about half an hour's drive for shops or the aquarium. Dartmouth and the coast are about forty minutes.
For planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Dartmoor National Park and National Trust Devon. There's also a new EV charging hub in Buckfastleigh if you need it.
No pets, sorry. Bedding and towels are included.
