Lavender Cottage is on the edge of Buckfastleigh, near the Dartmoor border. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. It's a 4 Star, so it's in good order.
There are two bathrooms, which is handy. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed and there's a BBQ out there. Inside, there's a woodburning stove and a separate games room. That's got a TV and some board games. It's useful if you've got kids to entertain on a wet afternoon.
The town centre is about a five minute walk. There's a Co-op for shopping and a couple of pubs. The Bell is the closest. It serves decent food.
You're right on the doorstep of Dartmoor for walking. Buckfast Abbey is a ten minute walk down the hill. It's worth a look. The steam trains on the South Devon Railway go from the station here to Totnes.
If you fancy a drive, the coast at Torquay or Brixham is about half an hour away. Totnes and Dartmouth are both within twenty five minutes.
For facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. We can provide a cot and highchair. Parking is on the drive.
