Ted 'N' Betty's is in Buckfastleigh, on a residential street. It's an end-of-terrace cottage. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog. There's parking for one car right outside.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Not particularly fancy, but everything works. The cottage is old, so the ceilings are low in some rooms. Mind your head on the staircase turn.
It's about a five minute walk into Buckfastleigh town centre. There are a couple of pubs, a Co-op, and takeaways. It's a quiet spot, but handy.
You're just on the edge of Dartmoor here. You can be up on the moor in about ten minutes by car. Good for walks. Dartmoor National Park Authority is the best place for maps and routes.
Buckfast Abbey is about a mile away. It's a working monastery with grounds and a shop. The South Devon Railway is in town, if you like steam trains.
Totnes is ten minutes down the road. Good for cafes and shops. The A38 is close, so you can get to Plymouth in about half an hour, or Exeter in maybe forty minutes. Torquay and the coast are about a twenty-five minute drive.
For facilities: towels and bedding are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a barbecue in the garden.
