Indigo Cottage is in the middle of Buckfastleigh, on an old side street. It's a terraced house, so you've got neighbours either side, but it's quiet. The front is yours, with a little garden and a table.
It sleeps five, in two bedrooms. Both have a kingsize bed, so one of those rooms will need to share. There's one bathroom, but it has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. The kitchen has what you need, and there's a utility porch out the back. Useful for muddy boots or putting bikes. The stairs are a standard steepness.
Out the front gate, you're right in the town. There's an outdoor swimming pool, a play park, and the usual shops. The pub is a couple of minutes walk. Ashburton is four miles up the road for more cafes and antique shops.
You're on the edge of Dartmoor. You can be on the moor in five minutes by car. For a different day out, the South Devon Railway is here, which goes to Totnes and back along the river. Buckfast Abbey is just up the hill.
Further afield, places like Totnes, Dartington, or the beaches at Torbay are all within half an hour's drive. For planning walks, the Dartmoor National Park site is useful.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
