Kay's Cottage Buckfastleigh

It's called Kay's Cottage and it's in Buckfastleigh. That's a small town on the edge of Dartmoor. You're right in the middle, just off the main street, but it's in a quiet courtyard so you don't get the noise.

It's a 3 Star place, sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's enough for a small group or a family. You can bring one dog.

Out the back there's an enclosed patio garden. It's not massive but it's private. You can sit out there. There's parking for one car right there.

The location is the main thing. You can walk to a few places in a few minutes. There's a shop about thirty yards away. The pub is a bit further, maybe three hundred yards. It's a proper local.

Also walking distance: the Butterfly Farm and the Otter Sanctuary are just along the road. The South Devon Railway station is there too, where you can get a steam train to Totnes. Buckfast Abbey is about a fifteen minute walk. It's worth seeing.

For days out, you're right on the edge of Dartmoor. You can be up on the moor in ten minutes by car. The South Devon coast, places like Torquay or Brixham, are about half an hour's drive. Plymouth and Exeter are both easy to get to for a bigger day out.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them, and a stairgate at the top of the stairs. The stairs are a bit steep, it's an old cottage.
