The Figgery is in Moorhaven Village, which is on the edge of Dartmoor. It's a single-storey place, converted from an old stable. It's compact, but it's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It means it's modern and well-fitted. The layout is open plan. The bathroom is a wet room, so no shower tray to step over. Everything is on the ground floor.
The village is quiet. It's a few rows of houses really, not a bustling place. There's a local pub you can walk to. For a proper shop, you'd drive to Ivybridge, which is about ten minutes away.
You're right on the doorstep of Dartmoor. You can get straight onto the moor for walking. The railway walk into Ivybridge is also good if you want a flat, easy path.
Within about half an hour you can get to quite a few places. Totnes is a market town with an interesting high street. Plymouth has the Barbican and the Hoe. The south Devon coast, like Bigbury-on-Sea, is within reach for a beach day.
It has the basics: WiFi, TV, a washing machine. Parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
