The Garden Barn
The Garden Barn is in Bittaford, which is on the southern edge of Dartmoor. It's a detached stone barn we converted. You can see Dartmoor from the garden.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The conversion is good, it's solid and warm. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
The garden is enclosed, with a sunken patio area that gets the sun. It's a quiet spot, you'll only hear sheep and birds.
You can walk straight onto Dartmoor from here. Ivybridge town centre is about a mile away for shops and a pub. For a good beach, Mothecombe is about a twenty minute drive.
Plymouth is roughly twenty minutes by car. The Barbican and the Aquarium are down there. Totnes is about half an hour away, you can get boat trips from there to Dartmouth in the summer.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. We provide bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. No pets.
