Lukesland Farm
Lukesland Farm is on the southern edge of Dartmoor, just outside Ivybridge. It's part of our farmhouse, but it's self-contained, so you get your own space. It's a working farm, so you'll hear sheep and see tractors sometimes. It's very quiet up here.
The place sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is fair. It's clean and everything works, but it's not fancy. It's a farm annexe.
You've got your own patio and garden area. There's a woodburner for cooler nights, and WiFi that works alright. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The best thing is the location for walking. You can be on the moor in minutes. The Two Moors Way footpath is about a quarter of a mile up the lane. The farm is next to Lukesland Gardens, which are lovely when they're open.
Ivybridge is under a mile for a shop or a pub. For a beach, Mothecombe is about 20 minutes by car. Plymouth is roughly half an hour if you need a city or the aquarium.
We're on the edge of the National Park, so for planning walks, the Dartmoor National Park site is useful. There are also several National Trust places nearby.
No pets, I'm afraid. The farm dogs live here.
