Right, so The Loft is in Burraton, which is out past Newton Ferrers, up the hill. It's quiet up there. You sort of get to it by walking up three small flights of external steps. It's a conversion on the side of the main house, but it's all yours. It feels a bit up in the trees, which is nice.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well finished and comfortable. The bed is a king-size. The shower is good and powerful.
You come in through a conservatory, which is where the table is. It's a good spot. The lounge has two sofas. The kitchen is small but has everything, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's a private bit of garden with a table and chairs. You're also welcome to wander around the larger grounds. It's a peaceful spot.
Location wise, you're in the South Hams. Mothecombe beach is about a 15 minute drive. It's a lovely, quiet beach when the tide's out. The Yealm estuary and Newton Ferrers are just down the hill, maybe five minutes by car. It's all good walking country.
Plymouth is about half an hour's drive if you need a city. Dartmoor is about the same, the other way. There are some good walking routes on the moor.
It's got parking right there. WiFi is included, and so are bedding and towels. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust page for Devon is useful, and the South Devon National Landscape site has walking information.
