Fordbrook Cottage
Fordbrook Cottage is in Brixton, about fifteen minutes outside Plymouth. It's a little stone cottage that backs onto our farmhouse. You get the place to yourselves, but we're next door if you need anything.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating from VisitEngland, so it's well-equipped and comfy.
The kitchen's been redone and there's a dishwasher and washing machine. The living room leads out to a courtyard patio with a barbecue. There's a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs.
We run a small plant nursery here, so you'll see flowers around the garden.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. The pub is walkable if you don't mind a country lane. Plymouth is seven miles away. You've got all the shops there, and the Barbican and the Hoe. Bovisand beach is about a twenty minute drive.
For a day out, Noss Mayo is good for sailing. Pennywell Farm is about half an hour away for kids. You can get the South Devon Railway from Buckfastleigh up towards Totnes. Dartmouth is about a forty minute drive.
You're well placed for walks. The South West Coast Path is close, and Dartmoor is about a thirty minute drive.
We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking on site, WiFi, and a TV.
