Old Church School
Old Church School is in Plympton. It’s part of an old school building next to our house. You get your own space though. It backs right onto the castle green and the ruins of Plympton Castle.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It feels solid, like an old building does.
The front is a south-facing courtyard garden. It gets the sun. There’s a table and chairs, and a BBQ. You can hear the kids sometimes from the little play area on the green, but it’s generally quiet.
There are three pubs and a restaurant within walking distance. The closest pub is about 200 yards. The shop is a five minute walk. If you’re driving, the A38 is ten minutes away, so it's easy to get around.
Dartmoor is five miles to the north. You can be up on the moor in about fifteen minutes. For the coast, you’re about half an hour from places like Bigbury-on-Sea or Wembury.
There is parking right outside. The kitchen is open plan. It has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s bike storage if you need it. No pets, sorry.
