Kings Haven
Kings Haven is in Plymouth. It's a modern three-storey townhouse right on the water at Mount Batten.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom is on the first floor, the other two are on the top floor. They're all kingsize beds and one can be made into twins if you need it. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good condition.
The main thing is the view. The living room is on the first floor and has glass doors all along one side, looking straight out over the harbour. You can see Smeaton's Tower and the Barbican across the water. There's a balcony there with a table.
The kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor. Doors open onto a larger terrace with an outdoor sofa set. You get the same view from there.
There's a pub about fifty yards away. A local ferry stop is two minutes' walk. That ferry can take you to the Barbican for restaurants, or over to Royal William Yard. Mount Edgcumbe is a short ferry ride away too.
For walking, you're on the coast path straight away. The Hoe and the city centre are about a twenty minute walk, or a quick drive.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are provided. It says wheelchair accessible entrance, but the house is on three floors with stairs, so contact us if you have specific access needs. No pets.
