This is 6 Mills Bakery, in the Royal William Yard in Plymouth. It's an apartment in one of the big old naval buildings right on the water. It’s a listed building so you get the big stone walls and the arched windows. It’s one apartment of several in the Yard.
It sleeps four, but it’s all in one bedroom. There’s a double bed and a double sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well set up.
The Yard itself has a lot of restaurants and cafes right on your doorstep. You don’t really need to drive if you want to eat out. There’s a pub about 100 yards away.
You’re right on the edge of Plymouth. It’s a short drive or a decent walk into the city centre for the Hoe and the Barbican. Being in the Yard feels a bit separate though, it’s quiet.
For a day out, you can get the ferry across to Mount Edgcumbe from here. Or drive to the National Trust places on the edges of the city. The South West Coast Path starts nearby. Cornwall is just over the Tamar Bridge, maybe a 20 minute drive to get across.
In terms of what’s there, it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
If you’ve got a bigger group, you can book this one with a couple of the other apartments in the same building.
