The Ravine
The Ravine is out in Heybrook Bay. It's an annexe on the side of our house, but it's completely separate and private. You get your own door.
It sleeps two, one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside. The main room is open-plan, so the kitchen, living and dining area is all one space. The wi-fi is decent.
Outside, there's a balcony with a couple of chairs. You can see the sea from there, across the fields. It's a good spot in the evening.
The coastal path is right opposite the property. If you turn left out of the gate and follow it for about half an hour, you'll get to Bovisand beach. It's a nice walk. Wembury beach and the nature reserve are the other way, maybe a 40 minute walk. You'll see plenty of seabirds.
The local pub is about a hundred yards up the road. They do food. The nearest shop for basics is in Wembury, about a mile away. For a bigger shop, you'd want to drive into Plymstock.
Plymouth is about a fifteen minute drive. You've got the Barbican, the Hoe, and the National Marine Aquarium there. The National Trust looks after Wembury if you want more details on the area.
We allow up to two dogs. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
