Room Apart 2 Plymouth

Our place is Room Apart 2, on Pier Street in Plymouth. It's one flat in a big, old building called Elliot Terrace, on Plymouth Hoe. The building is quite famous - Conan Doyle used to live there. Our flat specifically is a one bedroom that sleeps three.

It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and it's got everything you need. The main thing is the view. The big windows look right out across the Hoe and Plymouth Sound towards Drakes Island. You can just sit and watch the boats.

You're right on the Hoe. The seafront promenade, the Tinside Lido, Smeaton's Tower lighthouse - it's all a two minute walk. The Barbican and Sutton Harbour with the cobbled streets and restaurants is about a fifteen minute walk down the hill. There's a shop and pubs just around the corner.

The flat comes with a parking permit for one car, which you'll need. We can sometimes sort an extra one for a tenner if you ask in advance.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a double bed and a single sofa bed in the main space. One bathroom with a shower. We've included WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

From there, you can easily walk into the city centre. The ferry over to Mount Edgcumbe is a nice trip. If you drive, you're on the edge of the South Hams and about 45 minutes from Dartmoor. The National Trust and Plymouth City Council websites have good information on local walks and things to do.
