Fisherman's Cottage
Fisherman's Cottage is on the Barbican, in Plymouth. It really is just yards from the marina. It's a terraced cottage, three floors high, so it's tall and thin.
It's a 3 Star place. It sleeps two. There's one bedroom on the top floor and a bathroom with a shower on the ground floor. There's a small living room on the first floor. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages here.
Outside, there's a courtyard garden. It's enclosed and private. You can sit out there.
You don't need to drive once you're here. Everything is a short walk. The Barbican itself has pubs, restaurants and shops. Plymouth Hoe is about a 15 minute walk along the waterfront. The National Marine Aquarium is very close. You can get boat trips from the Barbican over to the Royal William Yard.
There's one on-site parking space, which is a real bonus in this area. The Wi-Fi works. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
For wider trip planning, the National Trust Devon page is useful, and so is the South West Coast Path site. The coast path runs right past the Hoe.
