73 Brewhouse is a duplex apartment in Royal William Yard in Plymouth. It's a converted old brewery building. You get the city atmosphere right outside.
It sleeps six, but I think it's best for four adults really, maybe with a couple of kids. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is upstairs with an en-suite, and there's a twin room downstairs. There's also a mezzanine level with a pull-out bed if you need extra space. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's a high-spec place. Everything's new and clean.
The stairs inside are a bit unusual. They're open-tread and spiral. You need to watch your step, especially with bags or if you've had a couple of drinks.
The Yard itself has plenty of places to eat and drink, all within a minute's walk. There's a little bakery café for bread in the mornings. You probably won't need the car much. There's an allocated parking space if you do drive.
It's good for access. There's a lift to the apartment door and grab rails in the wet room. The front access into the Yard is flat, but the area itself is all cobbles, so wheelchair users should be aware of that.
From there, you can get the ferry straight across to the Barbican. That's where the old bit of Plymouth is, with the cobbled streets and the Mayflower steps. Or you can walk around the coast path into the city centre.
For days out, the Devon coast is on your doorstep. You can drive out to places like Wembury or Bigbury-on-Sea in under half an hour. Dartmoor is about a 25-minute drive inland.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a cot is provided. No pets.
