Breakwater View
Breakwater View is a bungalow on the edge of Down Thomas. It's a small village near Plymouth. The name's right: you look straight out over Plymouth Sound towards the breakwater.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there, it's just not luxurious.
Being a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about. You have your own patio with the view. There's parking for one car on the drive.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair.
You can walk down to the coast path from the house in a few minutes. Wembury Beach is about a ten minute drive, which is good for rockpooling. For a longer beach day, Bigbury-on-Sea or Bantham are roughly half an hour away.
Plymouth is fifteen minutes by car. The National Marine Aquarium is there if the weather turns. You can also get the Cremyll ferry over to Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park. The ferry trip is part of the day out.
