Pentire is a bungalow just outside Holbeton village. It's detached and sits in its own garden, with a couple of extra acres of field behind it that you can use. The view from the deck is over the valley.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level, which makes it easy.
The garden has a south-facing deck, a barbecue, and a hot tub. There's also a large koi pond. The pond can be covered with a net if you're worried about children or dogs. The garden has an unfenced drop at one side, so you need to keep an eye on kids.
You're about 150 yards from the village shop and the local pub, which does food. Mothecombe Beach is a couple of miles away, down through the woods. It's a nice walk.
For days out, Totnes is a 20-minute drive. You can get boat trips from there down the river to Dartmouth in the summer. Plymouth, with the Barbican and the Hoe, is about half an hour away. The National Trust has lots of properties and coastline nearby, like Saltram and Wembury.
Included in the price: bedding, towels, electricity, and wifi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and parking for a couple of cars. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We provide a highchair and there's a shower seat in one of the bathrooms.
