This is 4 Coastguards, down at Bigbury on Sea. It's one of a small group of houses right on the front, practically on the beach. The view from the front is the whole bay, nothing in the way.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which in this case means it's well-finished. Oak floors, underfloor heating, that sort of thing. The living room and kitchen are upstairs to make the most of the view. There's a good-sized balcony off the living room.
Downstairs, there's a garden area and a private outside shower for washing off sand. You get parking for two cars and a storage space for beach gear.
You can walk to the beach in a couple of minutes. There's a good café right there. The famous sea tractor goes from the beach over to Burgh Island, where you've got The Pilchard Inn and the Art Deco hotel.
For a wider day out, Kingsbridge is about 20 minutes by car. Salcombe is about half an hour. Dartmouth and Plymouth are within 45 minutes. The South West Coast Path runs right past.
Facilities: it has WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, all the bedding. No pets, I'm afraid.
