Upper Forge is in the middle of Malborough village. It's an old forge cottage, so the front door opens straight onto the stairs. You go up to the first floor living area. It sleeps four.
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. It's not huge, but it's fine for a week by the coast.
You can't park right outside. There's a public car park at the village hall, or some on-road parking, both a short walk away. Once you're in, you've got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included.
Malborough has a shop at the post office for basics. There are a couple of pubs that do food. The village playing fields have tennis courts and a playground.
It's about a mile and a half from Salcombe. You can walk it via the footpath, which has good views. The South West Coast Path is easy to get to from here. For beaches, you've got North Sands, South Sands, and Soar Mill Cove all within a ten minute drive.
If you want to explore further, Kingsbridge is about fifteen minutes away. Dartmouth and Dartmoor are both within a half hour drive.
No pets, sorry.
