The Hayloft
The Hayloft is a ground floor barn next to our house. It's detached, so you're on your own. We're in East Charleton, which is just off the main road between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. It's a good spot for getting to places.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a barn conversion, so the ceilings are high and it feels quite open. There's a wood burner for colder evenings. The courtyard garden out front is enclosed, which is handy if you have kids or a dog.
There's a shop about a hundred yards away. The village pub is a few minutes' walk. It does food. For a beach, Blackpool Sands is about four miles. It's shingle and usually quite well-kept. Slapton Sands is a bit further.
Kingsbridge is three miles. Dartmouth is about six. Both have the usual shops and places to eat. The South West Coast Path is accessible nearby if you want a walk. For a bigger day out, Totnes, Dartmoor, or Salcombe are all within half an hour's drive.
What's here: parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog. The place is all on one level, so there are no stairs.
