Coachman's Lodge

Coachman's Lodge is a converted barn at the end of a farm track in South Allington. It feels quiet here. The garden looks out over the fields behind the main house.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an en-suite shower off the main bedroom. The other bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub. Everything's modern and works properly. It's got a 3 Star rating so it's clean and functional.

The stairs are standard, not too steep. There is wheelchair access to the ground floor through the front door.

The kitchen has the usual stuff: oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer. There's a table in there. The living room is next to it.

Guests can use the tennis court and croquet lawn on the grounds of the main house. They're just across the drive. The equipment is there.

It's about a mile to the beach at Slapton Sands. Slapton Ley is right there too for birdwatching.

Kingsbridge is four miles away for shops and a leisure centre. The town has steamer trips to Salcombe. Dartmouth is about ten miles. If you want a longer drive, Dartmoor, Plymouth and Totnes are all within about forty-five minutes.

It's a good spot for walking, fishing, golf and riding with local places. There's parking right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. All bedding and towels are included.

The Lodge can be booked with The Coach House and The Laurels next door if you're a bigger group.
