Meadow Mews is a converted stone barn on the edge of Chillington village. It's detached. The garden is enclosed so it's fine for kids and the patio gets the sun in the evening. It's a spot for a big group, sleeps twelve, six bedrooms, five bathrooms. No pets, sorry.
The inside is very well done. It's got a 5 Star rating so it's comfortable and everything works. Good kitchen, big dining table for everyone. There's a dishwasher and washing machine, which you need with that many people.
There's a village shop and a pub about three minutes' walk away. The pub does decent food. For a beach, you drive down to Slapton Sands, which is a long stretch of pebbles. The South West Coast Path starts there too if you're walkers. Good for birdwatching at Slapton Ley as well.
Kingsbridge is a few miles west. It's a nice market town with supermarkets and places to eat. You can get boats from there down to Salcombe. Salcombe's about eight miles, more of a sailing place.
Further out, Dartmouth is about half an hour's drive. Dartmoor National Park is just under an hour north if you fancy a change from the coast. All the local info you might need is on the South Devon National Landscape site.
What else? Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking for several cars. We've got a cot and highchair if you're bringing little ones.
