This is Aloft, my place in Salcombe. It's a first floor apartment, which means stairs up to the front door. It's about a minute's walk to Victoria Quay on the flat, so you can leave the car.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been checked and is well-equipped and clean.
There's a balcony off the living room. You look out over Island Street, which is one of the prettier ones with the boats. You can sit out there. There's also a proper parking space on site.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: dishwasher, good wifi, TV, all the bedding and towels are there. It's all on one level once you're inside.
Being where it is, you can walk to everything in the town. The shops, the pubs, the boat trips, it's all right there. For sailing, you're already in the right place. For a bigger beach, South Sands is a pleasant walk or a short drive.
The South West Coast Path runs right through Salcombe if you want a proper walk. If you fancy a drive, the beaches at Bantham or Bigbury are about half an hour. Dartmouth is a bit less than that. National Trust Devon has details on a few local spots like Overbecks and East Soar.
No pets, I'm afraid, due to the lease.
