Shadycombe Lodge
Shadycombe Lodge is just outside Salcombe town centre, maybe a five-minute walk. It used to be a coach house. It’s in a quiet street, mostly houses, so it’s peaceful. You can park two cars off the road.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy if you’ve got a full house. There’s also a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well kept and comfortable.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you’ve got a dog or kids. It’s not huge, but it’s your own space. You’re a short walk from the shops, pubs, and the quay in Salcombe. The sailing is all there.
For walks, you can pick up the South West Coast Path easily. Bigbury-on-Sea and Bantham beach are both within half an hour’s drive if you want a change of sand. Dartmouth and Dartmoor are also about forty-five minutes.
Inside, it’s got the things you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
