Tappers Quay Apt 2
Tappers Quay Apt 2 is in Salcombe, on the water's edge opposite the Fish Quay. It's about a five minute walk into the town centre, and it's flat the whole way, which is good. The apartment is part of a small development.
It sleeps six, but there are only two bedrooms, so you'll be using the sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom, with a shower. The place is done to a high standard, clean and modern. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get an allocated parking space under cover, which is a real bonus in Salcombe. It fits a medium-sized car. There are steps down to the water from the development.
The apartment doesn't have a direct view of the water from the windows, but you're right there. You step outside and the estuary is across the road. For proper views, you walk two minutes up to the main town quay.
Everything you need is in town: shops, pubs, restaurants, boat hire. It's all on your doorstep.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust's Overbeck's Garden is nearby, and the South Devon National Landscape site is good for walking routes. For a day out, you can drive to Start Point lighthouse or down to Beesands. Dartmouth and Plymouth are both within about an hour.
