Eydon is in Salcombe, on the Foss Street end of things. It's basically a terrace house, but it's the end one so it's a bit bigger and you have your own outside bit. You can walk into the town centre from here in about five minutes.
The main thing is the parking. You can fit two cars on the drive, which is good for Salcombe. The patio is nice, it's got little slabs. You get a table and chairs there.
Inside, it sleeps six. It's got three bedrooms and, usefully, three bathrooms. So there's no queue in the morning. It's a 4 Star place. Everything works, it's well looked after.
The stairs are a standard house staircase, no issue. Everything you'd expect is here: dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi. We've got a cot and a stairgate if you're bringing little ones. You can bring two dogs as well.
As for what's around, the town is right there. The estuary is at the bottom of the hill. The nearest pub is The Fortescue, it's about a three minute walk. You can launch boats from the town car park.
If you drive, you can get to a few things. Start Point lighthouse is about twenty minutes south. The beaches at East Portlemouth are just across on the ferry. Kingsbridge is a fifteen minute drive inland. If you want to go walking, the South West Coast Path runs right through. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here.
Everything is included: bedding, towels. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive now.
