This place is 24 Courtenay Street in Salcombe. It's a Victorian terraced house. You're basically in town, about a hundred yards from the waterfront and the shops, but it's on a no-through road so it's a bit quieter.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not brand new but well looked after. The kitchen has beech worktops and there's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
There's a sunny garden terrace out the back. You get a view over the rooftops towards East Portlemouth and the estuary.
Because of where it is, you can walk to everything. The town, the ferries, the shops. You don't really need the car.
We take one well-behaved dog. There's bedding and towels included, and there's WiFi and a TV.
For wider area information, the National Trust Devon site is good for local walks and gardens. The South Devon National Landscape site covers the coast and countryside.
