Courtenay Cottage
Courtenay Cottage is in the middle of Salcombe town. It's a terraced house, so the neighbours are attached. The main thing is the view from the front. It looks straight out over the estuary.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. You need to know about the stairs. They're in the description for a reason. They're narrow and steep. Not a problem for most, but something to be aware of.
You can walk to everything in Salcombe from here. The shops, the pubs, the bakery. Whitestrand car park is about 50 metres away, which is useful. You can park there with a permit we provide, but spaces aren't guaranteed.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
For things to do, you're right on the South West Coast Path. The National Trust's Overbeck's is a good walk away with great gardens. For a bigger beach day, you can get the passenger ferry across to East Portlemouth. It's sand over there.
If you're driving out, Kingsbridge is about 15 minutes upstream. Dartmouth is about 40 minutes away. Dartmoor is roughly an hour's drive.
