Sun Peaks
Sun Peaks is a modern house near Salcombe. It's detached and quiet, up on the hill a bit. You can walk down into town, it's about ten minutes. North Sands beach is a bit further, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes by the footpath.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It's reverse level, so the main living area is upstairs to get the views. You can see right across to Dartmoor on a clear day. There's a balcony there.
Downstairs, the garden is enclosed and secure, which is good for kids or dogs. There's an outside shower with hot water, which is useful for washing off sandy feet or wetsuits.
North Sands beach is dog friendly. There's a cafe there called the Winking Prawn. If you want to go into Salcombe town from South Sands beach, you can get the little ferry across the water.
Salcombe has the usual shops, pubs, and places to eat. There are boat trips you can take, or you can hire your own. For walking, you're right on the South West Coast Path.
Locally, you've got Overbecks garden, which is National Trust. Kingsbridge is a short drive away for a change of scene. Dartmouth and Totnes are within half an hour if you fancy a trip out.
Facilities included are all the basics: WiFi, parking, a washing machine, dishwasher. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
