Church Street 17
Number 17 Church Street is in Salcombe, below the church. It's a terrace cottage, Victorian I think, so the layout is a bit old fashioned.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms, and there are three bathrooms which is useful. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not a show home.
The main thing to know is the stairs. They're the original ones, so they're steep and a bit narrow in places. It's over four floors, so you'll get your steps in.
From some of the upstairs windows you can see over the harbour, towards Fish Quay and Snapes Point. The garden is out the back, it's a nice spot for a coffee.
You're really close to everything. It's two minutes to the shops and the main quay. For a bigger shop or more restaurants, Kingsbridge is about six miles away.
The coast path is right there if you want to walk to South Sands or Overbeck's. Sailing boats are all over the harbour, obviously. For a day out, you can drive to Dartmoor or Plymouth in under an hour.
It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets, I'm afraid.
